Why you should upgrade the clock circuit in your CD, DVD or SACD player
Even today, after many years of circuit development, the sound quality of all digital audio disc players (SACD, CD, DVD) is determined by the quality of the master clock and it's associated power supply.
If your audio system suffers from a tiring, unfocused sound, with harsh treble and a weak bass, the cause is most likely to be high jitter created by the clock in your player or transport.
Substitute the standard clock in your player now with our 'Clock 4' oscillator, designed for extreme performance and low jitter. This will greatly enhance the sound quality of your player to a level that competes with many of todays high-end players.
The small printed circuit board shown above replaces the simple passive oscillator in your player to bring about one of the best and most cost effective upgrades availabe for CD players.
So how do I upgrade my CD player and how much does it cost?
We have 2 cost/performance levels of clock upgrade. You can purchase the parts from us and fit them yourself, or if you prefer send your player to us and we will undertake the work for you.
1. Clock 2 - inexpensive but high performance.

2. Clock 4 - ultimate performance for low jitter re-clocking.

Either of the above Clock boards requires a power source. The better the power supply, the better the clock will function. There are 3 possible options:
1. Take the power from the player's own digital power supply.
2. Fit one of our 'Standard' Clock Power Supply Units.
