The new stand alone 'Never Connected' power supply - Nov 2008
A long development cycle brings the latest generation - 'Gen 2' - of 'Never connected ' power supply technology. This new product can be used with many existing products on the market from many manufacturers. It will give a substantial boost to sound quality over existing external power supplies.
Available as either a single supply or a dual plus and minus with voltages ranging from 3 to 30 volts dc.

We are pleased to anounce that the Dino phono stage has yet again recieved the BEST PHONO STAGE in the What Hi Fi Sound and Vision 'Awards 2005' - accessories category.
'Never Connected' power supplies now available for Dino and Diablo phono amplifiers.
As of January this year 'Never Connected' power supplies have been made available for both Dino and Diablo phono stages.
For the many customers who already own the 'Dino+' power supply for their Dino, an upgrade will be available - all that is required is tho return the 'Dino+' either to us directly or via a dealer and a replacement set of electronics will be fitted into the existing case.

The Dino and associated power units are now manufactured from a dark acrylic.
Customers having the original silver Dino and wishing to add an upgrade power supply will still be able to obtain the matching silver case.

The overall height of the module is now only 10mm to enable easier fitting in tight locations such as DVD players. The circuit board layout has been updated with improved grounding. The output buffer has been changed to give a faster rise time and even lower jitter.
Clock 3 is no longer manufactured, but Clock 2 will remain available for those looking for an economical upgrade.

The revolutionary new isolating power supply design from Fenson Ltd is already winning enthusiastic support from audio manufacturers with Trichord Research and Michell Engineering having signed up as the first licensees to use the new technology in their equipment.
The new patent-pending power supply design ensures the equipment is 'Never- Connected' directly to the mains, resulting in total isolation from mains borne noise and interference. Fenson Ltd is claiming substantial and consistent improvements in sound quality when compared to conventional linear power supplies.
Additional benefits include total reverse isolation of the mains from load-generated noise allowing easy and total isolation between supplies in the same piece of equipment, eliminating the requirement for multiple transformers commonly used with conventional supplies to improve isolation.
Commenting on improvements Graham Fowler of Trichord Research said, 'The Never Connected power supply design is very effective, having heard the improvements when used with a wide range of equipment we are convinced that the Never Connected supply is a real winner. Improvements in sound quality are consistent and very easy to hear when compared to even the very best conventional power supplies'.
At present Trichord Research is offering Never Connected supplies as an option in the new Delphini Mk2 power supply, and as an improved power supply for use with its proven Clock upgrades to CD players. An upgrade service is also available for existing equipment.
Michell Engineering have also licensed the Never Connected {technology} design for use in their new HR power supply. This supply has been developed as an upgrade over previous supplies for use with the DC motors as found on the TecnoDec, GyroDec and Gyro SE turntables. Here again the Never Connected supply offers real improvements over standard power supplies with very obvious improvements in sound quality.
