With its configurable load and gain, the Diablo accepts low and high output MC cartridges and MM cartridges, up to 8mV. The circuit is 'class-A' IC-based, with precision passive and active RIAA-equalization. Components are low noise metal film resistors and selected 1% polystyrene and polypropylene-and-foil capacitors. The local power supply regulation employs two ultra-wideband discrete regulators, which on their own are just as advanced as the actual phono circuit itself.
